Premier Equine Bourges Synthetic GP 17″ Adjustable Saddle – Brown

Finding an all-rounder saddle that combines a secure rider position with ultra-low maintenance can feel like a search for a needle in a haystack. The Premier Equine Bourges Synthetic GP brings high-end ergonomics together with lightweight, easy-care materials. Built on Premier Equine’s Genesis Tree system with synthetic wool-flocked panels, it delivers a supportive, close-contact feel across flatwork, hacking, schooling, and recreational jumping without the weight or fuss of traditional leather.

At Best Horse Saddle Shop, our workshop team hand-inspects every pre-owned saddle before listing. This 17″ Bourges GP is in Grade 3 condition, meaning it has seen very little use, has been exceptionally well cared for, and is 100% structurally sound and ready for the arena.

Performance & Everyday Practicality

The Bourges Synthetic GP is designed around ease of use, rider stability, and freedom of movement for your horse:

• Genesis Changeable Gullet System: Swapping gullet plates from Narrow up to Extra-Wide takes only minutes, making seasonal weight changes or muscle development simple to manage.

• Medium-Depth Seat & Supportive Cantle: Offers an ultra-secure, centered feel in the saddle without locking your hips or restricting movement.

• Tailored Rider Support: Features detachable Velcro knee and thigh blocks that can be positioned precisely where your leg needs support.

• Synthetic Wool-Flocked Panels: Provides impact absorption along the horse’s back while giving your local saddle fitter scope to make minor balance adjustments.

• Lightweight & Easy Maintenance: No oiling or conditioning required—simply wipe down with a damp cloth after rides to keep it looking fresh.

• Flexible Girthing: Multiple girthing attachment points allow your fitter to adjust girth alignment for maximum stability on rounder barrels.
