Albion Fabrento Monoflap 17″ Medium Leather Dressage Saddle – Black

For riders looking for an ultra-close leg feel, deep-seat security, and superior British craftsmanship, the Albion Fabrento Monoflap Dressage Saddle is a standout favorite. Handcrafted in England from premium, ultra-soft calf leather, this high-performance monoflap removes excess bulk beneath your leg, creating an intuitive line of communication between your aids and your horse’s barrel.

At Best Horse Saddle Shop, our workshop team hand-inspects every pre-owned saddle before listing. This 17″ Albion Fabrento is in Grade 4 condition—showing honest, moderate cosmetic wear on the seat and flaps from regular riding, but remaining 100% structurally sound with a solid tree and plush wool-flocked panels. Offered in a highly sought-after Medium fit, it delivers top-tier British saddlery at a fraction of full retail!

Precision Monoflap Design & Ergonomic Engineering

The Albion Fabrento is built to maximize leg connection and freedom of movement:

• Ultra-Slim Monoflap Construction: Single-flap layout eliminates extra leather layers, giving you an intimate, close-contact connection to your horse’s ribcage.

• Albion Adjusta Tree Technology: Built on a flexible, break-resistant tree that can be professionally resized on an Albion press machine by an authorized fitter as your horse conditions.

• Deep Seat & Fixed Thigh Blocks: Anchors your pelvis into correct, effortless vertical alignment (ear-shoulder-hip-heel) without pinning your knees or restricting pelvic roll.

• Shorter Wool-Flocked Panels: Specially contoured short panels distribute rider weight evenly over the back muscles while freeing up the lumbar region and shoulders on modern, short-backed sport horses.

Saddle Care & Maintenance Advice

To keep your English calfskin saddle looking and performing its best for years to come:

• Daily Wipedown: Wipe away sweat and arena dust after each ride using a soft, damp cloth or sponge.

• Leather Hydration: Treat periodically with a quality leather balm or conditioner to keep the calf leather supple, hydrated, and protected from cracking.

• Proper Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated tack room away from direct heat or dampness. Always place on a shaped saddle rack to protect the tree and panel flocking.
