17.5 inch Arena Cob Dressage Black Adjustable

Description

Arena Cob Dressage Saddle 17.5″ Adjustable – Black Leather

Finding a dedicated dressage saddle for a wide, low-withered cob or draft cross can feel almost impossible. Most dressage trees curve too sharply or sit ridiculously high. The Arena Cob Dressage was built specifically to solve that problem. Crafted in supple black European leather, it pairs a deep, supportive seat with an ultra-wide adjustable fitting tree, giving you a close, balanced connection during flatwork and competition without pinching your horse’s shoulders.

At Premium Saddle Shop, our workshop team hand-inspects every pre-owned saddle prior to listing. This 17.5″ Arena Cob Dressage is in solid working order, completely structurally sound, and ready to bring comfort and stability to your dressage training.

Designed Specifically for Wider Cobs & Round Builds

Standard dressage saddles often roll or pitch forward on rounder barrels. The Arena Cob Dressage uses a specialized flat profile:

• Elastiflex Wide Tree & Low Profile: Hugs broader backs without creating pressure points or making you feel “perched” high above your horse.

• CAIR Cushion System: Fluid air panels dynamically adapt to your horse’s back muscles, absorbing impact and eliminating high-pressure spots as they move through extended gaits.

• Easy-Change Wide Gullet System: Uses wide-format gullet bars (1XW up to 4XW). Swapping bars takes only minutes, making seasonal weight or muscle changes simple to manage.

• Running Y-Girthing System: Equalizes girth tension along the entire length of the tree to prevent the saddle from slipping forward onto the shoulder.

• Customizable Leg Support: Movable Velcro knee blocks allow you to tailor thigh support exactly to your hip and leg angle.

Condition Report

Grade 4 — Good Used Condition

This saddle has been well maintained, regularly conditioned, and is 100% structurally sound with expected cosmetic signs of previous use:

• Flaps & Seat: Moderate, normal surface wear on both flaps from stirrup leathers.

• Cantle: A minor cosmetic scuff on the leather rim (shown in detail photos).

• Structure: The Elastiflex tree, CAIR panels, billets, and stitching are all in sound working order.

We encourage you to review all detailed photos for an exact look at its cosmetic condition.
