Workshop Inspection & Quality Certification

Before any second-hand saddle is listed on Premium Saddle Shop, it passes through our workshop for a full bench safety and structural evaluation by our qualified saddlers. We test internal tree alignment, stitching security, billet integrity, and wool panel fill.

• Overall Rating: Grade 5 — Functional Pre-Owned Condition with Visible Cosmetic Wear

• Structural Rating: 100% sound across the internal fixed tree, billet points, and wool-flocked panels.

• Cosmetic Details: Exhibits noticeable signs of regular riding use throughout. Features visible surface wear across the seat area, moderate stirrup leather wear on both left and right flaps, alongside general scuffs and cosmetic color variations (all fully detailed in our listing photos). The hide remains structurally sound, supple, and ready for many more years of active riding.

Model Overview

Handcrafted in Great Britain, the Albion K2 Jump is one of the most respected jumping saddles on the market, celebrated for its robust stability, horse comfort, and classic British saddlery standards. Built on Albion’s famous Warmblood tree architecture, it delivers exceptional upper-body balance and lower-leg support for show jumping, hunting, and everyday schooling.

Featuring fixed front and rear leg blocks paired with soft padded knee rolls, the K2 helps hold a steady lower leg over fences without locking your pelvis out of position.

Frequently Asked Questions

What horse conformation does the Albion K2 Jump fit best?

This Medium-Wide model is built on Albion’s Warmblood tree with drop panels, making it an excellent match for horses with standard to slightly pronounced withers and broad back profiles that require extra panel support upfront.

Is the tree width adjustable on this model?

This particular saddle features Albion’s original non-adjusta wooden tree. However, because the panels are stuffed with 100% natural wool, your qualified saddler can easily fine-tune the flocking balance directly at your barn.

How does Grade 5 condition affect the saddle?

Grade 5 indicates that the saddle has clear, visible cosmetic wear (such as flap shading, seat aging, or minor scuffs) from active use, but is 100% structurally sound, safe, and ready to ride at a major discount off retail pricing.
