Expert Saddle Fitter’s Overview & Fit Guide

Handcrafted with British equestrian heritage in mind, the Premium Saddle Shop Vinici Monoflap Jump is engineered for riders who prioritize ultimate close-contact feel, balance, and freedom of movement over fences. Its streamlined single-flap profile removes excess bulk under the leg, allowing subtle leg aids and maximum stability through every phase of the jump.

Equine Fit Profile

• Wither Profile: Specially tailored for horses with low withers and flatter, broader top lines.

• Ideal Breeds: Fits exceptionally well on Warmbloods, native breeds, Draft crosses, and cob-type builds that require extra width through the shoulder and tree.

• Flocking & Adjustability: Features traditional, high-grade wool-flocked panels. Your independent saddle fitter can easily make micro-adjustments or top-ups to customize the bearing surface to your horse’s back shape.

• Template Built: Constructed on a generous template design to optimize pressure distribution across wide-backed horses.

Saddle Condition Report

• Overall Grade: Grade 4 – Pre-owned in good working condition with expected cosmetic signs of use.

• Wear Notes: Moderate leather wear on both left and right flaps from stirrup friction; standard surface wear across the seat.

• Inspection Status: Structurally 100% sound, with verified tree integrity and clean, intact stitching checked by our workshop specialists.

Key Features

• Monoflap Construction: Ultra-close leg contact for refined aids and immediate feel during jumping and cross-country.

• Weight & Balance: Lightweight build designed to optimize rider weight distribution and allow complete freedom through the horse’s shoulders.

• Quality Materials: Built from supple, durable leather that offers excellent grip and security in the seat.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

General & Saddle Fit

Which horses suit the Vinici Monoflap Jump best?

This Extra Wide model is specifically designed for horses with low withers, flatter backs, and wider barrels—such as Warmbloods, cobs, Draft crosses, and broad-backed eventers.

Can the flocking be adjusted?

Yes! The saddle features traditional wool-flocked panels, allowing your qualified saddle fitter to adjust or top up the flocking to match your horse’s changing topline over time.

What does “Grade 4 Condition” mean for this listing?

Grade 4 indicates a sound, pre-owned saddle showing typical cosmetic wear. On Saddle ID 28417, this includes moderate stirrup leather wear on both flaps and general surface wear on the seat, while remaining structurally sound.

Trials, Shipping & Returns

How does the 5-Day Saddle Trial work for US and UK buyers?

Place your order online to secure the saddle. Once delivered, you have 5 full days to test the fit with your qualified saddle fitter. If you decide to keep it, you’re all set! If you need to return it, contact us within 5 days for return instructions.

Do you ship internationally outside the US and UK?

Yes! We ship globally via fast, tracked express couriers. While trial periods are limited to US mainland and UK clients due to customs processing times, international riders still enjoy major cost savings importing quality saddles through our store.

Warranty & Leather Care

What warranty comes with this pre-owned saddle?

All secondhand saddles from Premium Saddle Shop include a 6-Month Soundness Warranty covering internal tree integrity and structural soundness under fair wear and proper care.

How should I care for black full-grain leather?

Clean regularly with a damp cloth and quality saddle soap to remove sweat and dirt, followed by a light application of leather balm to preserve softness and grip. Store in a climate-controlled room on a padded saddle rack.
