Description

Cavaletti Collection Monoflap Dressage Warmblood 17.5″ Adjustable Saddle – Black

Finding a close-contact dressage saddle that actually fits a broader Warmblood or wide-backed horse without sitting high or pinching the shoulders can be a real challenge. The Cavaletti Collection Monoflap Dressage is built specifically to address that wider back profile. Crafted with a flatter Warmblood-style tree, soft covered leather, and a sleek single-flap design, it puts you right next to your horse for clear, refined leg aids—delivering a high-end feel and secure rider alignment without the premium price tag.

At Best Horse Saddle Shop, our workshop team hand-inspects every saddle in our inventory. This 17.5″ model is an Ex-Demo (Grade 2) saddle—meaning it has seen only minimal handling for test fittings, remains 100% structurally sound, and offers near-new quality at a far more accessible price.

Direct Contact & Broad-Horse Architecture

The Cavaletti Monoflap Dressage brings together targeted support and close-contact precision:

• Engineered for Wider Profiles: Features a flatter tree arch and broad panel footprint designed specifically for Warmbloods, cobs, and wider-built horses that tend to push standard trees up and out of balance.

• Monoflap Precision: Single-flap construction removes bulk under your thigh and calf, allowing subtle seat and leg cues to pass directly to your horse.

• Versatile Interchangeable Gullet: Swapping gullet bars (covering NM all the way to XXW) takes just minutes, giving you total flexibility as your horse develops muscle, changes work levels, or shifts seasonal condition.

• Traditional Wool-Flocked Panels: Classic wool flocking gives your qualified saddle fitter plenty of scope to fine-tune panel balance and pressure distribution across the back.

• Supportive & Balanced Seat: Combines a classic dressage seat with fixed external knee blocks, offering a secure, stable leg position without locking your hips or feeling restrictive.

• Y-Style Girthing: The three-point Y-girthing arrangement anchors the saddle evenly across the back, preventing forward slip on rounder barrels.
